The first U.S. sitcom with a leading Latino Comedian. Toward the end of production in season 3, Freddie Prinze, who played Chico, unexpectly committed suicide, shocking the U.S. and Latino cultures. The show continued on for a 4th season without their popular actor, and Ed finds himself taking care of an orphan boy that reminds him of Chico.
