Note : Here's another fun turkey, the typical story of a California teenager who's killed by a gang prank gone wrong, and then a mad scientist transplants his brain into a robot dinosaur body. It stars Denise Richards, who can't really act, but is awfully cute (though a little dead behind the eyes, even before she met Charlie Sheen), a very young Paul Walker, not a care in the world about dying in a fiery car crash, Terry Kiser as "Dr. Wachenstein", Ellen Dubin as the doctor's assistant, Helga, as well as minor horror icons George Buck Flower and Sean Whalen. This was conceived as a gory horror comedy, then the studio decided to cut all the gore, making it a wacky teen comedy, which bombed, but this is the director's cut, which restores the gore, and is, well, it's not good, but it's pretty fun, and if you need more fun, there's the Jaboody track. Cheerleader Tammy (also spelled "Tanny" in the end credits) and her hunky boyfriend Michael are as happy as can be, having found a friend who serves both as token black guy and token gay guy. However, all is not well, because Tammy's evil ex boyfriend Billy, who's in a vaguely defined gang, is jealous, and picks a fight with Michael. The cops arrive, arresting Billy, but Tammy is very sad. In unrelated events, an evil mad scientist has designed a robot dinosaur body which he wants to use to conquer the world, all he needs now is a human brain. Back to Tammy and Michael, who are making out in her room when the gang breaks into the house and chase Michael, ending how conflicts with teen gangs usually end: with him getting mauled by a lion. The comatose Michael is declared dead by the evil scientist, who proceeds to steal the body and pop the lid, procuring the only missing part to his evil plan, however, Michaelsaurus has other plans, for romance! And revenge! Wacky hijinx ensue! This 4k remaster is pretty good, but a bit grainy, and dark scenes are kind of murky, while bright scenes seem a bit blown out. It's fine, though, as is the stereo track, the commentary track is pretty amusing, and the Jaboody track delivers, as you'd expect. Hot tip Quote:HeVK torrents always have lots of keywords.
